Keep Chiropractic Alive in Texas!

What's happening?

As we learned when we visited Austin and met with our local Texas State Representative and Senator, they were not aware of an impending vote in the State House which is the result of a lawsuit brought by the Texas Medical Association (TMA). The lawsuit brought against the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners (TBCE) and the Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA) is trying to position the TMA and its members as gatekeepers over chiropractors statewide, and drive chiropractors out of business.

What's at stake?

Your ability to choose chiropractic care as one of--or your preferred method--of health care. Those Texas consumers who prefer to see DCs will be at a disadvantage, and Texans who prefer to see chiropractors as their primary doctor will be forced to seek care elsewhere.

Chiropractic is affordable and effective, so it's become the preferred method of health care for millions of Texans! And many physicians are not as well informed that Doctors of Chiropractic are extremely well-trained health care professionals, and well-equippped to diagnose and treat patients!

What can you do?

If you wnt to maintain access to chiropractic care, sign the Petition "Freedom for Texas Chiropractors" which you can access by clicking here.

Then Contact your state representative and inform them of "Freedom for Texas Chiropractors", and ask them to support legislation designed to ensure your right to select the doctor of your choice.

When you contact your state representative (who you can locate by visiting this site ) please tell them:

How your chiropractor has helped you!

How the Texas Legislature can, and should protect your right to choose your own doctor and your own type of care, and while they're reviewing this lawsuit, to lower health care costs during the process.

What's next?

I will keep you informed about the process, and the outcome ... but if you ever have questions, please feel free to contact me!

You are the "best voice" to wake up your state representative and better educate them on the value of chiropractic care.

I--and other Texas chiropractors--appreciate you, and appreciate helping to better educate people about chiropractic care.

Infinite Love and Gratitude.....

Dr. Kathi
